Tournament Rules:
The tournament will use any Kill Teams, and all FAQ’s / balance dataslates available from Games Workshop published up to the Weekend before the event. You can view such downloads at the following link to ensure you are using the most up-to-date information when creating your Kill Team:
Matched Play: Each player has a single Kill Team, which will be used in each round of the tournament. Operatives are selected from this team as normal, and as detailed in the Operative Selection section of each team’s rules.
Painting Rules: Models must be painted to at least a Battle Ready standard.
Mission Sequence: Each round the players work through the Approved Ops mission sequence from the Approved Ops card pack. The only exception to this is the step “Set Up The Killzone”. Terrain and objectives will be pre-set and must not be moved. Critical ops will be drawn once per round; every table will use the same critical op for scoring, and tac ops are chosen by players during setup as detailed in the Approved Ops pack.
Pairings: The tournament will run a standard swiss-style pairings method wherein the first round is drawn randomly and subsequent rounds are drawn by score.
Scoring: The principle scoring point will be “games won”. Tiebreakers will then be based on strength of schedule, followed by NET victory points and finally NET casualties.
