WYSIWYG: Titandeath 13/06/26

June 13 @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Setting

The Garmon Cluster, centred on the planet of Beta-Garmon II, stands as one of the Imperium’s most important mustering points within the Segmentum Solar. Whilst there has been conflict in the worlds of the Garmon Cluster since 006.M31, it is with the easing of the Ruinstorm in 012.M31 that true horror comes to this place. Knowing time was not on his side, Rogal Dorn, the Emperor’s Praetorian, orders a significant muster of assets to this area of space, hoping to draw out the forces of his brother Horus, the turncoat Warmaster.

Known by the troops on the ground as the Great Slaughter, the death tolls ramped into the billions. But this conflict was known by another name too; the Titandeath. Hundreds of titan maniples from scores of Legios on both sides of the conflict made war from Nyrcon City on Beta-Garmon II itself to the promethium refineries of Theta-Garmon V or the ruins of Omega-Garmon. This was a battle were the gods themselves unleashed their wrath upon each other in what would be one of the most horrific battles of the Horus Heresy.

This is where the God Machines made war unseen since the dark, forgotten days of the Age of Strife. This is more than just the Great Slaughter; this is the Titandeath.

The Event Format

Combined Horus Heresy and Adeptus Titanicus Event!!!!

A one-day narrative event. 14 players total will wage war over 2 rounds across 6x4ft or 4x4ft tables (for Warhammer: the Horus Heresy or Adeptus Titanicus respectively) to claim glory for the Warmaster or the Emperor within the Garmon Cluster, and to either pave or block the way to Terra!

This is not a competitive event; the expectation is lists will be created in a narrative style.

There may be individual prizes for strange occurrences or achievements. But there are no personal awards for winning the most games or scoring the most victory points. Games will initially be fought against random opponents from the opposite faction, with game results and variation of forces deciding further match ups. The outcome of each game will influence the final round, and which faction wins the day.

Rule of Cool Competition: Horus HeresyLord of War

Each player may submit one unit/model that occupies a Lord of War slot in the Force organisation chart for the peer voted Rule of Cool Competition, voted during the lunch break.

Rule of Cool Competition: Adeptus Titanicus – Princeps Senioris/ Knight Seneschal

Each player may submit one model that is designated as a Princeps Senioris or Knight Seneschal within their army for the peer voted Rule of Cool Competition, voted during the lunch break.
