SUMMARY:Warhammer 40\,000 Narrative Event: The Shattered Dominion Part 2 19/04/25
DESCRIPTION:The war for Vordrax Prime was won\, but victory is a fragile illusion. As Imperial forces struggle to maintain control\, Chaos insurgents strike from the shadows\, assassins and saboteurs unravel the hard-fought gains of the crusade. Yet a greater horror looms. Deep within the ruins\, something stirs—an ancient xenos presence\, long buried beneath the hive spires\, now awakened by the planet’s turmoil. Strange disappearances\, unnatural phenomena\, and reports of inhuman figures stalking the wastelands spread fear among the ranks. With war on two fronts\, the Imperium must decide: hold the line against an unseen enemy\, or abandon Vordrax Prime to an even darker fate? \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWelcome\, one and all\, to Justplay Events’ sequel to the Shattered Dominion!\nThis is a three-round\, 2000-point Warhammer 40\,000 event using Matched Play restrictions. “Legends” units will be allowed in this event. Current points\, errata\, and FAQs will be in effect. All armies must be painted for this event. \nStructure Players will be assigned to either a Defending or Attacking team at the beginning of the event. Each team will play through three custom-created missions\, crafted to fit the narrative we are telling. Players’ wins will contribute to their team’s performance each round\, driving the story forward as specific objectives are met (or not). The event will conclude with one team declared the victor. \nTeams The Defending team will consist of Chaos and Xenos forces\, each with their own agenda to secure victory. The Attacking team will comprise the Imperium and its allies\, determined to see Chaos vanquished. \nIf necessary for team balance\, players may be reassigned before the event begins\, based on sensible narrative reasons to ensure even teams. \nCRUSADE RULES may be in use at this event! Games will be balanced with crusade rules in mind\, players will be encouraged to use these rules and manage the book keeping of said rules. \nArmy Lists must be submitted before the Thursday 16th January 23:59pm via BCP\, which can be found HERE \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n10:00 – Doors open for registration.\n10:15 – Day Brief\n10:30 – Round 1 Begins\n13:15 – Round 1 Ends\, Lunch Begins\n13:45 – Round 2 Begins\n16:30 – Round 2 Ends\n16:45 – Round 3 Begins\n19:30 – Round 3 Ends\, Results and Ceremony\n19:45 – Home time\n \nPrizing and Awards \nThere will be no prizes for winning this event\, We will be offering an increased prize pool for Best Painted\, Best Army and Most Sporting Player.
