SUMMARY:WYSIWYG Heresy Event: Dark Sentry
DESCRIPTION:Setting\n“The Sea of Fire Campaign rages in the void between Beta-Garmon II and Beta-Garmon III. The tallies of dead beyond\ncount. Into this warzone the anomalous and ill-omened rogue celestial body known as the Dark Sentry appears once\nagain. A Traitor fleet concealed within its shadow. The warriors of the Aurelian Muster enter the warzone hoping to\nland upon Beta-Garmon III. In their path lies a Loyalist force. Delayed at the Pydonian Shipyards\, fate sees them\narrive at this pivotal moment. The fighting ultimately sprawls onto the surface of the Dark Sentry itself. A world\nwhose physical properties seem to shift at a moments notice.” \nThe Event\nThis one-day event will consist of 2\, multiplayer games. Each game will have 2 teams of 3\, pitching Loyalists against\nthe Traitors.\nPlease note:\nBeing our first event of this type\, timings are presented as guidelines only. There will be provision for possibly\nplaying a second large multiplayer game if time allows. There will also be a smaller 2000pt scenario prepared\, in case\ntime\, or player’s circumstances\, don’t allow for a second apocalypse game\, but some players wish to play on for\nlonger.\nAs a narrative event\, players are asked to focus on bringing a fun list for both themselves and their opponents. List\nrestrictions for the event are minimum\, Primarchs and Lords of War are encouraged for this Apocalypse Event.\nLikewise\, Troop units\, and units with Line\, are highly encouraged\, as the missions will be objective based. \nList Submission\nLists to be submitted by Friday the 26 th of July for list vetting and any feedback. Please feel free to submit your lists\nsooner though.\nPlayers are to attend with a 3000-point force which must be traitor or loyalist\, as per the ticket purchased.\nPlease also prepare a 2000-point list ready for if time remains for a small game to be played\, but not enough for a\nsecond multiplayer apocalypse game.\nAs a narrative event\, players are asked to focus on bringing a fun list for both themselves and their opponents.\nPlease avoid tailoring your lists to be too “competitive”.\nArmy list submission and questions are to be sent to Marc at WYSIWYG.Events@Outlook.com or on the Just Play\nHorus Heresy Whatsapp Group. \nEvent Army List Restrictions\nThe following restrictions are in place for this event:\n DREADNOUGHTS: MAXIMUM OF 5 TOTAL IN YOUR LIST. (Increased for Apocalypse).\n Titans and Primarchs ARE ALLOWED in this event. (History may record the Primarchs as being at different\nlocations during this time. However\, the fog of war is dense\, and sources are unreliable).\n Knights ARE allowed. Including as a Primary Detachment. With the following restrictions.\no Your army my not include more Armiger Warglaives than Armiger Helverins.\no Acastus Knight Porphyrions are restricted to 0-1 per army list.\n Legio Custodes ARE ONLY allowed at this event as an allied detachment. A maximum points spend of 1500\npoints on Legio Custodes units is in place. (The 10\,000 were otherwise engaged in the Webway).\n Unique Characters ARE allowed.\n Rules from all Horus Heresy 2 nd Edition GW publications\, published up until the week before the event\, will\nbe valid.\n Shattered Legions can be brought to the event\, but you must declare each units Major/Minor Benefits and\nFlaws at the start of the event and recorded on your army list. They are then locked in for the event and do\nnot change as the result of Mutable Tactics. (Some tokens/markers may help you and your opponents.)\n FOR THIS EVENT ONLY ARTIFICER ARMOUR UPGRADES ARE NOT ALLOWED. THIS IS TO SPEED UP PLAY.\no Units with Artificer Armour as standard are allowed. \nPainting and Modelling\nAs this edition of Horus Heresy has been out for nearly 2 years\, we understand that players may be branching out to\n2 nd \, 3 rd \, even 4 th armies! Or that you may have a few units sitting in the wings that you haven’t had the chance to use\nin anger yet.\nSo\, for this event painting standards are lowered to:\n 50% of your unit count must be fully painted (minimum 3 colours\, detail painted\, and bases textured and\nfully coloured).\n The remaining 50% of your unit count must be at least undercoated in the correct/obvious colour for the\nlegion/force they represent.\n Bases also to be at least fully undercoated and presented tidily. DESCRIPTION:We are excited to host Age of Sigmar’s newest format Spearhead! \nA great way to get started in the Age of Sigmar just bring your built Spearhead (previously Vanguard boxes) You don’t even need to paint it. \nWe would appreciate anyone with spearhead boards and cards to bring them along with you as we have a limited amount of these. \nSchedule \nStart time 10:30am \nWill will play a number of rounds based on attendance. 3 rounds but with 9 or more players 4 rounds. \nRound length 1.5 hours \nWinning the event! \nThe winner will be the person with the most games won! \nTiebreakers \n1st Victory Points earnt\n2nd Strength of Schedule \nPrizes \nThe winner will receive a Custom JustPlay Trophy \nBest Painted will also receive a Custom Trophy \nAny questions please contact us! \nConduct \nWe expect all players to demonstrate sporting conduct throughout the event. In terms of games\, this means knowing and abiding by the rules of the game\, ensuring both players are aware of the state of the game and ensuring your opponent maintains the same standards. Stalling\, rolling dice unfairly\, consistently misplaying or misrepresenting rules and other forms of unsporting conduct will be acted upon by the TO. \nThis extends to good personal conduct. Players should act appropriately and do nothing to make any other person feel less than perfectly safe and welcome. \nAny player who feels unsporting conduct is taking place should speak to the TO. If you feel the issue may affect the outcome of a game in progress\, you must alert the TO during the game. \nAlways report cases to the TO it may not have effected you negatively but they may repeat this behaviour if unchallenged. \nUnsporting conduct may result in deduction of tournament points\, and serious or repeated offences may result in automatic game losses or disqualification.
