DESCRIPTION:Tournament Rules: \nThe tournament will use any Kill Teams\, and all FAQ’s / balance dataslates available from Games Workshop published up to the Weekend before the event. You can view such downloads at the following link to ensure you are using the most up-to-date information when creating your Kill Team: \nHERE \nMatched Play: Each player has a single Kill Team\, which will be used in each round of the tournament. Operatives are selected from this team as normal\, and as detailed in the Operative Selection section of each team’s rules.\nPainting Rules: Models must be painted to at least a Battle Ready standard.\nMission Sequence: Each round the players work through the Approved Ops mission sequence from the Approved Ops card pack. The only exception to this is the step “Set Up The Killzone”. Terrain and objectives will be pre-set and must not be moved. Critical ops will be drawn once per round; every table will use the same critical op for scoring\, and tac ops are chosen by players during setup as detailed in the Approved Ops pack.\nPairings: The tournament will run a standard swiss-style pairings method wherein the first round is drawn randomly and subsequent rounds are drawn by score.\nScoring: The principle scoring point will be “games won”. DESCRIPTION:In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium\, the planet Vordrax Prime was once a bastion of Imperial strength—a hive world of towering cities and sprawling manufactorums. Yet\, without warning\, a dark rot took hold. Whispers of corruption began to fester in the lower levels of its cities\, spreading insidiously through the ranks of the populace and infecting the minds of Vordrax’s leaders. Before long\, entire sectors succumbed\, their loyalty swayed by the seductive promises of Chaos. The Imperium’s worst fears were realized: Vordrax Prime had fallen. \nNow\, it is a hellscape of twisted machinery and warped architecture\, an unholy paradise for those who worship the Dark Gods. The skies burn with strange storms\, and reality itself fractures as daemons bleed into the material world. The corrupted Governor\, once a loyal servant of the Emperor\, rules as a cruel puppet of Chaos\, orchestrating horrific rituals that promise to plunge the entire system into a nightmare beyond comprehension. \nIn a desperate response\, the Imperium has mobilized a strike force to reclaim Vordrax Prime. Space Marines\, Astra Militarum regiments\, and even the fanatic Inquisition converge\, each with their own motives and secrets. All armies must be painted for this event. \nStructure Players will be assigned to either a Defending or Attacking team at the beginning of the event. Each team will play through three custom-created missions\, crafted to fit the narrative we are telling. Players’ wins will contribute to their team’s performance each round\, driving the story forward as specific objectives are met (or not). The event will conclude with one team declared the victor. \nTeams The Defending team will consist of Chaos and Xenos forces\, each with their own agenda to secure victory. DESCRIPTION:The Event\n“The Cyclops Cluster burns. The last Loyalist beacon of Mezoa is cut off from the\nwider sector and Traitor fleets raze the Cluster at will. Burning planets and harvesting\ntheir populations to fight on distant battlefields. Goth is one such world. It’s densely\npopulated Hives and cities rich in human coin. But on Goth\, loyalist survivors lay\nwaiting for the ships of the Dark Tithe to arrive.”\nThe Event\nA one-day City Fight themed event. The day will consist of 3 bespoke\, narrative\ndriven missions\, pitching the Traitor Legions and their Allies against the Loyalists\nforces.\n12 players will wage war across 6x4ft tables. The dense ruins of the city hives\nsheltering Goth’s population from the Dark Tithe. Games will be objective based and\n(Heavy) Sub-type units will play an important role.\nThis is not a competitive event. There may be individual prizes for strange\noccurrences or achievements. But there are no personal awards for winning the\nmost games or scoring the most victory points. Games will initially be fought against\nrandom opponents from the opposite faction\, with game results and variation of\nforces deciding further match ups. The outcome of each game will influence the final\nround and which faction wins the day.\nThere will be a prize for the “Rule of Cool” – Best (Heavy) Sub-type unit. DESCRIPTION:June 2025 Event Pack \n“The Battle of Port Maw was heralded by the treachery of the stations Archmagos. Igniting the Mechanicum Panopticon with a deafening binaric signal that blinded the Loyalist fleets to the attack. Planet side\, the battle for the Panopticon began\, a desperate rush to silence the interference and put down the insurrection…” \nThe Event \nA one-day doubles narrative event. The day will consist of 2 bespoke\, narrative driven missions\, pitching the Traitor Legions and their Allies against the Loyalists forces. \n6 Teams will wage war across 3 tables. The Loyalists fighting to retain control of Port Maw while a massive fleet battle rages above.  \n2 single player games will run concurrently with the double’s games. Events in these games will have an impact on the double’s missions.    \nThis is not a competitive event\, the expectation is lists will be created in a narrative style. There may be individual prizes for strange occurrences or achievements. But there are no personal awards for winning the most games or scoring the most victory points.
